40:1 had then taken the word which came to from Jeremias of the LORD, this Nebuzaradan that the captain of protection left him of Ramah went, as him jumping to him in the chains under all those which were collected weggeschaffenes of Jerusalem and of Judah who were prisonières weggeschaffener with of Babylon.
40:2 and the captain of protection took Jeremias and with him, the LORD thy after this one place.

40:9 and Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware to them and their men, Saying, fear not to be useful around Chaldeans: in the country to remain, and which with the king of Babylon to be useful, and they are you.
40:10 with regard to good me, to see, I remain with of Mizpah serving Chaldeans which with us come: but ye, meeting ye of the wine and fruits of summer and oil and balanced them in your containers and stop in your cities that ye taken.
has also 40:11 as all Jews which were in Moab and under the Ammonites and in Edom and which were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remainder of Judah and that it had adjusted of Gedaliah on him the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan; 40:12 even which were led outside all the Jews any places whither him and to come to the country from Judah, with Gedaliah, with Mizpah and the fruits of summer and wine seized really much.
40:13 is turned over Johanan that the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were, collect moreover, came to from Gedaliah to of Mizpah, 40:14 and said to him, Dost Thou can without any doubt that Baalis the king of the Ammonites sent to hath of Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, to kill thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam their then believed Johanan the son saying of Kareah spake to of Gedaliah in Mizpah in secrecy not.
40:15, to make me go, I request thee that and I kill out of Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man knows it: wherefore it should kill the thee, this whole the Jew which would have with thee is dispersed is seized and the remainder in Judah to die? 40:16 Gedaliah the son however said of Ahikam to of Johanan the son of Kareah, with of Thou shalt not making this thing: for Thou false speakest of Ishmael.
